- 150 g dark chocolate
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 1 l boiling water (for "bain-marie")
- 50 ml milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 5 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 10 ml baking powder
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 130 g sugar
- 400 g canned pears
- For greasing the UltraPro
- 15 g unsalted butter
- 15 g sugar

Break chocolate into small pieces and place it into the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 1L. Add butter in small pieces on top.

Pour approx. 1L boiling water into the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 3.5L, then carefully place the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 1L with chocolate and butter into the water in a “bain-marie” setting without seal. Allow to stand for 15 min., stirring the chocolate halfway through.

Remove the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 1L from the “bain-marie”. Add milk, then eggs one by one, while whisking. Whisk until you have a consistent mixture.

Place cold oven rack at the second lowest level in the oven and preheat to Th 6 / 180°C / 350°F without convection.

Empty the water from the Mixing Bowl 3.5L and dry it. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and sugar in it, seal and shake to combine.

Add melted chocolate mixture into the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 3.5L. Seal bowl and shake side to side 10 times, then alternate up and down and side to side for 30 sec. or until you don’t hear any noise.

Dice the pears (each half pear into approx. 6 pieces), add them to the batter and stir until well combined.

Grease the UltraPro 2L with butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Pour the batter into the UltraPro and bake uncovered for 45-50 min.

Allow to stand for 10-15 min. before unmolding, then allow to cool for 30 min. before serving.
TIP:
* Use the Ultimate Mixing Bowl 2L and the Splash Guard with Cover to drain the juice of the canned pears.
